A quick snap of my web cam I got fixed up to start testing hangout style options for future epz connectivity. I was also playing with a 50mm f/1.4 lens at full aperture. More of this type to come.

Things are progressing well in the cinema build. The floor has been laid and a lower wall erected, along with some of the internal structure.

A cut out of matchstick men from paper and placed on an acrylic sheet with a light pointing up from below to illuminate them. Taken with Olympus E-P2 and 14-42mm lens in Art mode and grainy black & white setting.

Tonight was interesting. I spent an hour and half in complete darkness on the moors. It was very cold, but I had a rug and coat and ePHOTOzine hat to warm me up. Why? To photograph my first proper star trail...and it's going to be addictive.

A traditional pub from Worksop that's been empty for a few years. Renovation work has been done to the roof recently I assume to make the building weatherproof, but the scaffolding has gone so I guess it will stay empty for some time now.

I bought this old postcard from eBay and photographed it in situ. I also had a postcard of the Priory but the photo needed to be taken from inside the school playground and it's been closed and fenced off. It's quite tricky to match up well

A marble resting on fingers, backlit using a soft box covered studio light. I desaturated to give an almost monchrome feel.

View from the park this morning. I was just out a bit too late to catch the thicker mist, but then again I was up at 3:00am learning how to stack star trails that I'd just taken.

Today was another remarkably warm day, and as the sun was low in the sky shadows were interesting. This is my rusty metal resting near a brick wall, and a garden chair causing the shadows. I split the elements in such a way that it looks like two photos
