Wheat growing on a path near the Worskop canal. I took a variety of shots on my evening walk tonight and had difficulty choosing between a dead floating water rat, surrounded by McDonalds wrappers and containers, a low shot of my shoes.

Raindrops on the poppy petals today. I'll soon have exhausted the poppy patch by which time the petals will have all fallen off. Next I'm looking forward to a shot of the skeleton poppy head. That's a few weeks away.

I cycled round Clumber Park this afternoon a 30km route, and on the way stopped off at one of my favourite woodland scenes to take this. The reel has been there for about five years and is starting to rot away nicely. It's surrounded by silver birch

I'm making the most of the poppy explosion in the garden, and the rain with this shot.
A poppy petal fell off, so I placed it on the garden table and framed up tightly using the 100mm macro on a Pentax K5.
