My first trip into the woods to photograph fungi. I combined the 90min walk with part of a bag review I'm doing. So I filled the backpack full of items I would use and items I wouldn't to get a feel for what it's like at full capacity.

Taken in the grounds of Lincoln castle at Lincoln's annual Steampunk event organised by The Asylum It was shot on a Pentax K20D with the built in flash as fill flash.

And today a carrot on fern to provide a colour contrast. Pentax K20d and 18-45mm lens

So continuing my fruit and veg theme I've photographed an apple in a black bowl. I have an old spray bottle that used to come in a kit form with the Tamron 90mm macro. I used that to spray water over the apple and bowl before taking the shot with a Pentax

I sliced my pineapple up as thin as I could and placed the slither on an old Jessops lightbox to backlight it. I then used auto metering and over exposed by half a stop to get the bright effect. Taken with Pentax K-5 and 16-45mm lens.

I have a new theme to introduce to my photo365 blog - fruit and veg. I will from time to time use my daily post for a different way of shooting fruit and veg. This one is lit just with my Gorillatorch

I've finally caught up again and back on track with my photo365 after a week on holiday in Cornwall. Today's shot is the inside of my washing machine converted to black & white in Lightroom. It was taken on the Pentax K5 with 12-24mm zoom.

The garden is full of berries at the moment, and this captures one of the species. It's another shot with the toy lens that I reviewed a few weeks ago. I played around pointing into the sun to introduce flare, but settled back on this shot

This was taken in Avebury (my favourite village) on the way home from Cornwall on the last day of the holiday. It's a shot of one of the stones from the huge Stone Circle taken with the Olymnpus Ep-2 fitted with cokin A-series polarising filter
